On the Handball world stage in Sweden
It was great to be part one of the biggest sporting events in Europe looking after a team in a fully professional environment with lots of media attention and up to 12´000 spectators per game. While Australia, an underdog on the handball world stage, came last, it was a wonderful experience for me personally, particularly as I was able to work amongst other therapist such as Sports Psychologist and Physio Therapist and could even assist the team with their recovery by conducting yoga sessions.
In case you are interested...there are currently plans for a national elite handball league, which would help to boost the exposure of the sport in Australia.
